Most ticketing platforms take a steep percentage of every ticket sold and hide fees behind complex pricing tiers. RockNTix is a two-sided event ticketing marketplace across iOS, Android, and the web where event organizers list their events, attendees pay a flat $1 fee per ticket at checkout, and organizers pay only standard card processing.

What I built

• Stripe Connect marketplace & flat-$1 checkout — a multi-vendor payment flow built on Stripe Connect that charges buyers a flat $1-per-ticket fee, handles card processing, and routes ticket proceeds to event organizers.
• Location-based & AI-personalized discovery — geolocation filtering that surfaces nearby events first, paired with an AI recommendation model trained on user preferences and activity to match buyers with events they like.
• AI event-planning chatbot — an integrated AI assistant for organizers that writes event descriptions, recommends optimal dates and timing, and helps plan event details during setup.
• Single-use QR code ticket scanning — real-time QR code check-in for organizers and door staff that validates each pass on scan and immediately locks redemption so a ticket can never be used twice.
• Organizer event setup & sales dashboard — a streamlined listing flow where organizers publish events, configure ticket tiers, and monitor live ticket sales, revenue, and attendee check-ins from a dedicated dashboard.
• Cross-platform Flutter mobile apps — iOS and Android apps built with Flutter for browsing local events, buying tickets, storing passes in an in-app wallet, and scanning QR codes at the venue door.
• Next.js web platform & Node.js API on Azure — a responsive Next.js web app for buyers and organizers backed by a unified Node.js API and MongoDB database deployed on Microsoft Azure, powering web, iOS, and Android.
