Seed Cycle Blend
Menstrual and lunar seed-cycling tracker app for iOS and Android — FOL & LUT phase scheduling, one-tap logging, cycle charts, recipes, and reminders.
Seed cycling is a natural hormone-wellness routine that rotates two nutrient-dense seed blends — the FOL Blend (flax and pumpkin seeds for the follicular phase) and the LUT Blend (sunflower and sesame seeds for the luteal phase) — across a menstrual or lunar cycle. Seed Cycle Blend, a New Zealand wellness brand, wanted a dedicated seed-cycling tracker app on iOS and Android that makes the daily habit effortless to stick to.
What I built
- Menstrual & moon-phase tracking engine — users choose menstrual-cycle tracking or lunar-phase syncing (New Moon to Full Moon) during onboarding, and a custom calculation engine schedules FOL and LUT blend switches to match.
- One-tap daily check-in & cycle logging — confirm today’s seed blend in one tap and log period start, period end, and ovulation markers as they happen.
- Progress calendar & cycle charts — an interactive calendar grid and cycle tracking graph showing FOL and LUT blend intake alongside period, ovulation, and moon-phase markers across cycles.
- In-app seed-cycling recipe library — a curated library of FOL and LUT blend recipes (smoothies, slices, crumbles, and bowls) integrated with the brand’s Shopify and CMS content so users have easy ways to take their daily seeds.
- Adaptive push reminders & streak tracking — customizable Firebase Cloud Messaging notifications when it is time to switch blends, streak milestones for consistency, and a gentle nudge after a missed day.
- Cross-platform Flutter, Firebase & in-app purchases — one Flutter codebase for iOS and Android with in-app purchases unlocking premium tracking and content, backed by Firebase Authentication, Firestore, and Cloud Messaging.
